AlgoQuant Asset Management is a global investment company that manages digital assets and capital using mathematical models, strict risk management, and high-frequency trading. The company manages its own capital and allocates funds across external managers and internal portfolios.
The company’s website had several weaknesses and required a complete overhaul in both content and visual system. AlgoQuant offers a range of unique services that needed to be clearly structured and thoroughly presented on the website, while also optimizing the platform and laying the foundation for future scalability.
In addition, it was important to define a refined color palette and visual language that would be associated with the company, strengthen brand recognition, and build trust among clients.
The redesign presented here is a personal concept and was not approved by the client. All visual solutions are my own.
To visually communicate the company’s complex services, a racing theme was chosen to reflect teamwork, speed, and technological precision. It helped create clear associations and made the visual identity more creative, memorable, and distinctive. In addition, this approach expanded the creative direction and allowed the concept to move beyond a purely financial context.
Duotone, race-inspired visuals added a sense of seriousness and confidence to the design, while helping establish an overall color palette free of bright tones, with an emphasis on metallic shades. To maintain balance and avoid an overly cold feel, a subtle accent color was carefully introduced in selected areas. It does not disrupt the strict visual style but adds controlled variety.
A balanced typographic system was developed, using a monospaced typeface for accent elements to reinforce a sense of technological precision. Both light and dark themes were also carefully designed. To strengthen the association with a tech-driven environment, an interactive image filter reacting to cursor movement was implemented.
